June 22 – June 26 Planet Parkside Fun filled activities thoughtfully designed around science related concepts. During this first week, we’ll plant the seeds for a summer of learning fun involving the wind, water & sun. We’ll get our hands dirty planting vegetables & other interesting plants, and keep busy exploring worm worlds, butterflies, bugs and crawling critters. We’ll engage in all sorts of projects, activities & games that are sure to capture their attention.
	July 6 – July 10 Parkside’s Wide World of Sports Don’t miss out on this fun filled week geared around sport related activities! Campers will have an opportunity to play a variety of sports, some that they probably have never played before. Wacky sports, team sports, individual sports; we’ll be working hard to promote gamesmanship, and the relationship between individual achievement and team participation. Come and be a part of our sports extravaganza!
	July 13 – July 17 A Splashin’ Good Time There’s something about water & summer & children that you just can’t beat! What if you could play at the beach all day, everyday? Ride the double waterslide, dive onto a huge slip n’ slide, water balloon games, relay races! Sound fun? It is!! Last year’s splash attack week was so fun that it spilled over into many of the other weeks! (It’s hard to put that waterslide away!) Join us for Splash week at Parkside. You won’t be able to stay dry...We promise!
	July 20 – July 24 Around the World in 5 Days From hot air balloons, airplanes & trains, we will be traveling the globe and learning about the many diverse cultures of the world during Parkside’s trip Around the World in 5 Days. We will learn about the special ways in which cultures are different from music and food to clothing and even games. Bring your passport as we set off for this international adventure!
	July 27 – July 31 Welcome to Jurassic Parkside! Have you ever wanted to spend a week with Dinosaurs? This Dinomania week is sure to be filled with mysterious fossil digs, dino eggs, unearthing footprints, and a dinosaur safari! Imagine spending a day as a paleontologist and creating dinosaur dioramas in a prehistoric setting!
	August 3 – August 7 Space Station Vacation Ever wanted to visit the stars? Let’s go on a Space Vacation. This week we will learn all about the planets, solar systems, stars, and the ways scientists study them, including a field trip to Challenger Learning Center! We will make space snacks, models of our solar system, and much more. Come and enjoy the out of this world fun.
	August 10 – August 14 Pirate Adventures We must find the treasure! “X”marks the spot! Want to learn how to talk like a pirate,walk like a pirate, and learn about famous pirates in history? Come join us for a week of Pirate Adventures as we design treasure maps, swab decks, and set sail on a pirate ship.You will take home a piece of the Parkside hidden treasure, if it is found!
	August 17 – August 21 Maine Quest Would you like to be a Park Ranger for a Day and experience some hiking trails? From Acadia National Park to the magnificent Mt. Katahdin we will explore our state and learn what makes it so great.We will try out our cooking talents in the kitchen by making delicious treats with one of Maine’s favorite berries: Blueberries.We will also be exploring some of the creatures that call Maine home, from lobster to moose and everything in between. Bring your walking shoes and backpacks,we will begin exploring all that the great state of Maine has to offer.
	August 24 - August 28 Wild, Wild West Join us at the ranch for some horseback riding demonstrations, scarecrow making contest, horseshoes, petting corral, line dancing, cowboy/girl relays, tug-a-war, tasty B-BQ, archery and gunny sack races.
